The one in the second pair of students to receive The Lucinda L Jasper Scholarship from its beginning; one in the first pair of students to receive the scholarship once it went Archdiocese wide.

Essay about African American:   Walter Aloysious Mason, Jr.  – Uncle Walter, mentor, model, husband, father, family-oriented caring individual, famous quote: “If you can’t count it, you can’t spend it.”

Message to uncle in essay:

No matter what I do in life or whatever I accomplish, I owe much thanks and gratitude to him for all the time, energy, and effort he put into my life.

Goal:  To be a positive role model for young people
