Goal: to work hard and continue to do my best in school, go on to college, become a medical doctor, an engineer, or a lawyer; succeed in life; have enough knowledge, money and generosity to help others who may be less fortunate than me like my Grandpa Leroy did.

Where Are They Now?:

After receiving the Lucinda L. Jasper award, Ariana attended and graduated from St. John’s College High School in Washington, DC and later Randolph College in Lynchburg, Virginia. Ariana received her bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Biology and later her Master’s degree in Public Health from Boston University’s School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts. She now works for the United States Environmental Protection Agency as a Translational Scientist, where she continues to protect human health and the environment.
